Raccoons can be mischievous creatures. They look like little bandits with their masks and they love to wreak havoc on trashcans! Leave out a bowl of cat food or dog food and it’s sure to be gone in the morning if you have a raccoon living nearby!
Luckily, this little fella is harmless and doesn’t eat much. He’ll happily sit on your nature table, playing with any pebbles you leave sitting nearby!
As a totem, raccoons are recognized for their masks as masks are one of the tools of transformation. Masks can help us to change what we are into what we want to be. Also, raccoons teach you how to put asleep the part of you that is not needed and awaken the part of yourself that is. Quite a good totem to have!
Mamaroots did a sweet job of recreating this little guy!
