Giveaway Monday – Herbal Revolution Gift Pack

Today I am excited to announce a brand new sponsor! Herbal Revolution is a grassroots herbal business run by Katheryn Langelier of midcoast Maine. Katheryn hand crafts all products and medicine in small batches and uses herbs that she organically grows or ethically wild gathers from pristine areas.  She loves being able to provide her community with herbal products that are made sometimes right in the gardens and the fields utilizing the most vibrant and energetic plant life.

Katheryn’s love for the plants shines through her thoughtfully created herbal products.  They can be seen on both her website Herbal Revolution Maine, on Poppyswap and at her Etsy Store. She has an amazing line up of products ranging from the traditional tinctures and elixirs to the more luxurious body oils, creams, lotions and scrubs. Head on over to her shops to check out all of her lovely herbal contributions.

Today’s giveaway is for a bottle of her 1/2 oz stock bottle of Apple Blossom Essence, 1 bottle of your choice Apple Cider Hair Rinse (light or dark hair formula) and an “Eat Your Weeds” sticker.

Apple Blossom Flower Essence: Apple blossom purifies the emotions, assists the body in ridding itself of poisons from the past, and restores hope to one’s inner life. The essence goes to the ‘core’ healing, and opens one to the inner ‘star’ that resides within the heart. This essence has a way of purifying the aura so that one may bear the fruit of new dreams and aspirations.

Apple Cider Hair Rinse comes in two ‘flavors.’ They are made in small batches and can be used on food (if you would like to use it on food Kathi omits the essential oils) as well as on your hair. The winner can select between Dark and Light and choose with or without essential oils.

The Dark Hair Rinse is made with Maine Certified Apple Cider Vinegar, Spring Water, Nettles, Rosemary, Sage, Burdock Root, Horsetail, Parsley, Kelp and Essential oils
of Lavender, Rosemary and Sage.

The Light Hair Rinse is made with  Maine Certified Apple Cider Vinegar, Spring Water, Chamomile, Calendula, Oat, Horsetail, Nettle, Kelp and Lavender.

“Eat Your Weeds” square sticker: This great little sticker can be put on a notebook, journal cover, laptop or even your Mom’s back bumper (be sure to get her permission first!) to show your love of herbs. This is a fun sticker that hopefully will bring question to those that don’t realize the valuable and nutritional wild food that grows all around us. I have hopes that this sticker will encourage conversation, creativity and a better understanding of the amazing wild foods that grow all around us like dandelion, chickweed, plantain, purslane, nettles, red clover, burdock and on and on! And, for those who decide to purchase a sticker, Katheryn donates 50% of the Proceeds to United Plant Savers!

The apple elixer sounds like a real staple. I live south of most apple country, but I’ll keep a look-out for any varieties that may be growing locally.

There are innumerable items on Poppyswap that I’m in love with, but one that sticks in my mind is Wild Wines. I’d love to try them all.

I would love to win the give-away, and I know whoever does will be happy :)
