Giveaway Monday – Mulberry Mudd Sumac Pendant

This month’s pendant features Sumac. Handcrafted by Rebekah of Mulberry Mudd, this pendant is full charm! The front hosts a scene of Sumac and the back has the botanical name of Sumac (Rhus glabra) and a smaller image of Sumac. Made from ceramic, it hangs from 2 strands of natural twine, fastening in with a button closure. It measures about 2 1/4″ x 1 1/2″.

Stop by to check out her other items in her store. She makes beautiful Herbal Faeries, birdhouses, mugs and more! She also does custom orders so if you have a special ally or idea, convo her with questions! There may be a few other one-of-a-kind pendants featuring past Herbal Roots herbs as well! Rebekah uses naturally found elements in nature combined with clay to create these amazing pieces. Check out her latest creation: ceramic drums! Their sound is hauntingly beautiful! This Udo is my favorite.

This is a very looking pendant featuring one of my favorite herbs. I love Sumac as seasoning. I add it to stews and veggie burgers. I have a stash of dried sumac leaves but have not used it. I understand I can ground it and use it as a way to season meats. I love the leaves especially at this time of the year. Sumac is truly beautiful gift from Mother Nature.

Oh, that is so gorgeous! What a lovely idea to share nature with others! Although I’ve been learning much about herbs and worked as a park ranger, this is the first time I’ve heard of sumac as useful for not only healing, but cooking as well! Always something new to learn and to share! Thanks so much for sharing, and for offering this pendent as a fitting give-away.
