“I think I like learning about the different herbs and plants the best!”
Most recently, I’m very excited about MRH’s Herbal Glycerites, in particular the Goldenseal. This one has been hard to find in anything but an alcohol tincture. I can do the alcohol tinctures, but I always find I have to mix them with something else (for me it’s usually in my coffee) to handle the taste. The glycerites are sooooo much more palatable! Yay!

Hi, I’m new to this site. I’m trying to get more into all natural products and this sounds like a great giveaway. We use both St. Clare’s Tummy Soothers for my son and the throat soothers. Thank you so much for the information and the giveaway.

I am 10 years old, my name is Ellie.
There are so many things I like about herbal roots zine!
I like giveaway monday a lot. I like finding things out & I like doing the colouring. I like making the things – I have made onion vinegar & onion tincture & I dyed some wool with onion skins that I want to spin into yarn to knit something for my doll, Ann.
Kristine, my grandma told me that when she was a little girl, her family used the thin see through skin part of an onion (the part under the real skin) as a plaster when they cut themselves!

Kristine, just popping in with a thank you – currently debating what to do for March. Thanks for keeping the archives available. We are in England, so not all of the plants you focus are common there. We may study garlic for March, or may stick with slippery elm. Going to decide soon

I did not like onions before we read the zine, but now I like to eat them. Brown onions taste better when they are cooked. They are delicious.
