Giveaway Monday – Slippery Elm pendant from Mulberry Mudd

I absolutely love this month’s pendant from Mulberry Mudd! This week’s giveaway is for this lovely Slippery Elm leaf shaped pendant. Measuring about 2 3/4″ x 2″ with a natural twine toggle necklace, this pendant is a beautiful reminder of Slippery Elm’s medicine.

The back of the pendant shows a branch of Slippery Elm hanging down while the front reflects the veins of Slippery Elm.

It is made from ceramic and painted with acrylic paint and hangs from natural twine. It would be a great reminder to anyone learning all about Slippery Elm’s healing properties and to show off your love for this amazing herb!

Be sure to stop by to check out her other items in her store. She makes beautiful Herbal Faeries, birdhouses, mugs and more! She also does custom orders so if you have a special ally or idea, convo her with questions! There may be a few other one-of-a-kind pendants featuring past Herbal Roots herbs as well! Rebekah uses naturally found elements in nature combined with clay to create these amazing pieces. She has recently added a lot of breathtaking drums and more fae folk such as this one which has me longing for spring: Sister Rain.

Elms are my second favorite trees! It was on an elm that I first saw a gall, and my boys and I had the best time asking and researching around to see what those little pink fingers were!

I love that octopus drum in the Mulberry Mudd Etsy store. Our homeschool collective went to the aquarium last week, and though we didn’t see a live octopus, it was an awesome trip!

For my daughter Edie (homeschooling and we/she LOVES this addition to our Waldorf curriculum) who is 13 and doesn’t email : ) She makes a mini-book of each month’s info and really learns a lot reading and re-reading and copying all the facts about each plant. Edie’s explanation of why she likes Herbal Roots Zine: “I LOVE nutmeg milk (thanks for the idea from December) and LOTS of other reasons : ) And I LOVE making mini-books about herbs” Thank you. Oh, and she loves the pendant, it is so beautiful. Blessings
