Giveaway Monday – Eucalyptus Statue from Mulberry Mudd

***This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to Christine Breakstone! She won this beautiful sculpture.***mulberrymudd

I am super stoked to announce this week’s giveaway! My friend Rebekah of Mulberry Mudd made a beautiful Eucalyptan Koala Bear sculpture that will go to the home of one lucky winner!

This beautiful sculpture is handmade from red clay and painted with acrylic paints. She stands over 12″ tall and will bring about a bit of whimsy to one lucky winner’s home!

This stunning sculpture features Koala like qualities with accents of Eucalyptus. She even has a Koala Pouch, which is a perfect place to stash a bit of Eucalyptus leaf, a crystal, a couple of feathers or some other secret treasure.

Though this statue can enchant any place in your home, she would be an especially nice accent on your nature table. I just adore this statue so much and am honored that Rebekah chose to make her to be given away to one of my subscribers.

Tell me, what secret treasures would you stash in her pouch? What special spot in your home is waiting for this sweet little sculpture to grace?

About Rebekah:

Artist and herbalist Rebekah Dawn has been walking with the plants for as long as she can remember. A life long love has translated into passionate study of herbal lore that has deepened and grown through the years. She currently lives with her family at Labyrinth Gardens, a United Plant Saver Botanical Sanctuary, where she gives monthly plant walks and medicine making workshops. When she is not in the garden or wild-crafting she is most likely in her ceramic studio. Rebekah is the Teen Camp Coordinator for the Midwest Women’s Herbal Conference.

Be sure to stop by to check out her other items in her store. She makes beautiful Herbal Faeries, pendants, birdhouses, mugs and more! She also does custom orders so if you have a special ally or idea, convo her with questions! There may be a few other one-of-a-kind pendants featuring past Herbal Roots herbs as well! Rebekah uses naturally found elements in nature combined with clay to create these amazing pieces. Her sculptures are amazing, incredibly original and just plain wonderful. I fall in love with each one she creates.

Each piece in Rebekah’s store is original in every way, she uses no molds or reproductions ever. A percentage of her profits go to Tree Sisters and Radical Joy for Hard Times each month, and the rest builds her own Botanical Sanctuary at Labyrinth Gardens.

You can become a fan of Mulberry Mudd on Facebook if you would like to do so.

We have been enjoying learning about herbs so much this year. Each month we learn about the new herb that you present, as well as an old herb from HerbalRootsZine. Our favorite ones so far have been the ones we can dye with. We just finished covering Turmeric and dyed wool and bamboo fiber. It turned out SO beautiful. I can’t wait to spin it up and knit it into something. So, we are all looking forward to more dyeing herbs.

Her dolls are beautiful. I’ve always been a huge fan of mermaids, so her water nymph and mermaid dolls are some of my favorites.
