With the warmer weather comes lots of green! Peppermint is not exception. He is happily springing up in my garden, threatening to take over. Lucky for him, I encourage his spreading habit and allow him all the room he needs.
This month you’ll learn all about this peppy herb and how his gentle nature makes him a wonderful herb for all ages. But don’t be fooled! A strong infusion of this herb can also make quite a good coffee substitute for those wanting to kick the caffeine habit.
Learn to make mouth healthy recipes such as toothpaste and mouthwash, an oil that is great for all those achy joints, a delicious tummy soother drink and gripe water for baby.
Crafty kids will enjoy making bath fizzies for Mom or Grandma for Mother’s Day gifts…just be sure to save a few for yourself! I’ve also included a recipe for peppermint sachets to keep mice away from those deep drawer corners.
Packed full of games, stories, recipes and more, this issue is sure to please everyone!
