August 5 Calendar Entry

Poetry is a great way to express how you feel about a herb or tell of the herb’s many uses. Try your hand at writing a haiku about Bergamot. Here’s a haiku I wrote about Bergamot:

Bergamot, Bee Balm,

Sweet Leaf, Oswego Tea, so

many names for you.

The rules of a haiku are 5 syllables for the first line, 7 syllables for the second line and 5 syllables for the third line. What comes to mind when you write about Bergamot? Share your haikus with us!
