March Calendar – Mar 17

Have you tried making any garlic honey yet? If not, make some today! It’s a great way to use garlic for colds! So spicy sweet and delicious!!

    I started a jar of garlic in vinegar with intent to pickle, and one week later, the cloves have a bluish-green tint creeping up the ends, from the inside out…i think they are rotting? has anyone ever seen this? is there a chance they are still good?

    trisha, this is completely normal and will fade with time. it’s the garlic’s reaction to the vinegar. mine do it every time. 🙂
