March Calendar – Mar 25

One of the best things about writing each issue of Herbal Roots is the Songs and Poems. Rhymes and rhythms are a great way to help remember details. Just think of the amount of songs you can sing without looking at the lyrics! Melodies are catchy and so is rhyming! Although anagrams don’t need to rhyme, they can help us to remember important facts about something by remembering what each letter stands for. For instance, with garlic:

Great alterative
Antibiotic and antibacterial
Regulates blood pressure
Lowers cholesterol
Increases insulin

Can you write your own anagram?
